General English Course

Students from all around the world come to Meridian Plymouth for an opportunity to improve their English skills and gain the confidence to speak freely with improved pronunciation. After completing the course, students are awarded with official certificates.

Learn using the 4 skills

Students will develop their English language through by practising listening, speaking reading and writing skills.

Confidence building experiences

Meridian students gain confidence by building their vocabulary and improving their pronunciation and grammar through the use of a variety of media including lessons which are prepared based on the needs of the class.

Classroom-based lessons

Classroom-based lessons provide opportunities for students to work individually, in pairs and in small groups. A certificate is awarded at the end of the course.

Who is this course for?​

All levels of ability from A1 to C2* (CEFR scale) aged 16 or over.
Students under the age of 16 can be accepted as part of a Closed Group.
